Q - So, what makes the Snow Blood series special?
A - It's a mix of things, really. When I set out to write these books, I wanted to create something that mirrored exactly the kind of books I like to read. I’ve always been in love with vampire novels, but none of them satisfied my curiosity of how these creatures came into existence. So I went straight to the Vampire Bible and found the legend and incorporated it into my stories.
I love “creatures,” so this series has everything from werewolves, shape shifters, monsters, ancient gods and goddesses, you name it! I also love a good mystery, so I included a lot of suspense and twists. I love what My Book Habit said about Season 1: "Snow Blood was also not a predictable book, and the fight scenes were pretty intense ... I recommend this to anyone who is tired of the same old predictable novels that you have everything figured out by the end of chapter 2. I believe Snow Blood will hold your attention through the very end." Honestly, I’ve made sure there’s never a dull moment.
And, finally, this is a vampire story as told through the eyes of a vampire dog! So, it’s different and unique, which is what I wanted to create.
